Woodlands Raceway is a tight 1/3 mile
Tri-oval set it the middle of no where. With a small grandstand on the frontstraight and a
matching likeness on the back, this track takes you back to the roots of NASCAR. A couple
of notes: the trees in Turns 1-2 will draw through some other objects when the track draw
ahead is set to 0 or 1. Draw ahead of 2 or greater provides optimal graphics. Also,
because the track was shrunk by such a large amount, the overall draw ahead (track and
wall surface) has been somewhat compromised. Again, increasing track draw ahead will solve
this problem. Pit road can only hold 30 or so cars so that's what you're limited to. It
appears that has led to some more strung out racing, though with a track a scant 2 grooves
wide, that's not necesarily a bad thing.
